BUSY Infotech has announced an important technology infrastructure upgrade for BUSY 21 users.
As part of this upgrade, all users running BUSY 21 releases older than Release 14.6 are required to update their software to Release 14.6 or above for smooth and continued operation.
The upgrade has been introduced to keep BUSY aligned with the latest developments in Microsoft technologies, Windows, GST requirements and other statutory and regulatory changes, including evolving requirements related to e-Invoicing, IMS, return formats and validations.
Older software releases may also face compatibility, security, stability and performance issues with newer operating systems and hardware. Upgrading to the latest supported release will help customers benefit from the latest BUSY capabilities and technology improvements.
Who needs to upgrade?
The requirement applies to all customers currently using BUSY 21 versions below Release 14.6, irrespective of whether their BLS (BUSY License Subscription) is active or expired.
BUSY has planned the upgrade activity in phases to ensure that customers can be supported smoothly during the transition.
What should BUSY users do?
Customers using a BUSY 21 release below 14.6 should contact their BUSY dealer/channel partner and arrange for an upgrade to Release 14.6 or above.
The upgrade should be completed at the earliest to avoid any potential disruption and to ensure that the software remains compatible with the evolving technology and statutory requirements.
