Busy Accounting Software is available in many editions, depending upon your need and features required.
The editions essentially are three types:
- Basic Edition (Perpetual, with BLS renewals after 1st year) and Blue Edition (Same features as Basic, but is a subscription or rental model available for 360 days or 1080 days)
- Standard Edition (Perpetual, with BLS renewals after 1st year) and Saffron Edition (Same features as Standard, but is a subscription or rental model available for 360 days or 1080 days)
- Enterprise Edition (Perpetual, with BLS renewals after 1st year) and Emerald Edition (Same features as Enterprise, but is a subscription or rental model available for 360 days or 1080 days)
All the above editions are available in Single User and Multi User versions:
- Single User version: Only one user per company can work on the data at the same time. For example, if the customer has installed two companies, namely, ABC and XYZ only a single user can open each company. However, you can create multiple users and assign them rights as to what they can do or not do. For example, a user named Rahul, who is a collection person can only view the data, but not make any changes to it. He cannot modify, add or delete data.
- Multi User version: It allows more than one user open any company. In the example above, if there are 5 users, named, P, Q, R, S and T, then, for instance, P and Q can open the company ABC simultaneously and make entries or modify data in that company, while users R, S and T can open the other company XYZ and work on its data simultaneously. This model is suitable for multiple salesperson working on the same set of data like in retail outlets and supermarkets. Each user can be given specific rights.
Busy also provides you a Mobile version or Mobile App of Busy, which does not work as an independent app, but is a companion to its desktop version. Some editions provide you a free mobile app for first 360 days. Mobile app is your on-the-go solution for a field person, who can view stock reports, book orders and issue invoices and receipts from the mobile app itself. However, to work properly and update the desktop data, the mobile app is required to be synced with the desktop from time to time.
